The Sincic Collection

Glass plate negatives from the Alaskan Gold Rush.
Paul Sincic first came to the Great Land in 1937 after years of traveling as a "Hobo." During his life in Alaska he worked as a gandy dancer, grave digger, longshoreman, teacher, and was founder of the Skagway Museum. Paul was a soldier in WW2 and a father of four.
Some of the pieces in the Sincic Collection are from glass plates he acquired while collecting for the museum decor. All the rest are originals.
